My practice from 2006 to 2016 concerned the social context of places and creating works in public settings, often with an intention to make ‘interventions’ that create temporary communities or shift people’s experience of a particular place. I have also explored the changing nature of locality in relation to the everyday use of social media, considering a technologically mediated experience of place.

From 2010 onwards, a series of projects in collaboration with Seven Art Writers collective used performance scores to structure collaborative live writing on Twitter over extended periods of time,  investigating Twitter as a medium for live performance and interaction.
